Got questions? We Have Answers
Find answers about visiting our clinic.
How do I prepare for my first foot or ankle appointment?
Approximately 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message prompting you to check in. It is very important that you click the link and complete the pre-registration process. You will be asked to:
- Sign medical consent forms
- Upload images of your insurance card and photo ID
Pre-registration avoids unnecessary appointment time delays caused by in-office registration. Additionally, selecting “next” to bypass prompts does not complete registration, and by doing so, you will still be required to finish the full process at check-in.
What should I bring to my first foot or ankle appointment?
To help us get you back on your feet faster, please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Photo ID
- Insurance card
- Referral (if required by your provider)
- A credit card to keep on file
- Medical records like recent X-rays, MRI scans, or notes from another doctor
Please arrive 30 minutes early for your first appointment so we can finalize your chart and get you checked in on time.
Is parking available at your clinics?
Yes! Most of our convenient locations throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento offer dedicated on-site parking or accessible street parking right near the clinic entrance. If you are visiting one of our busy San Francisco neighborhood offices (like the Mission District or Lower Pacific Heights), we recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot.
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We know life happens! If you can’t make your time slot, just give our scheduling desk a call at least 24 hours in advance. We will gladly move your appointment to a better day or location that fits your schedule.
What advanced or non-surgical treatments do you offer?
We prioritize conservative, non-surgical relief whenever possible using state-of-the-art medical technologies. Our advanced treatment options include MLS Laser Therapy to rapidly reduce acute and chronic pain, EPAT Shockwave Therapy for regenerative tissue healing, and Ultrasound-Guided Injections for precise joint and nerve relief. We also provide custom-molded orthotics and on-site advanced diagnostics, including Nerve Testing and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
What medical specialties and treatments do you offer at BAFC?
